STARGAZING

okay the night is dark
but not my heart
that's right
because i have the light
of God
in me
yeah he is the reason
i be
living
and giving
of myself
and taking a breath
or a step
yeah even if i wept
in depth
it's okay
because God has already made a pathway
in the alley
and valley
so this child
can smile
bright
like a light
in a very dark place
