life and CHRIST

is still 

refining 

and 

oiling my wheels  

for this world

is being shaped 

into a pearl 

AND BOY

does it hurt 

yeah, being jerked around 

sunup sundown 

makes me feel...

lost and found 

like a clown 

in a little car 

or a drunk 

in a bar 

or a  star 

in the sky 

yeah, I'm high

BUT I REALLY...

DON'T UNDERSTAND 

WHY?

yeah, as I lay 

on this mental mountain 

staring at a water fountain

like a roaring lion  

trying not to fall off 

the edge
