i wanna sit on my patio
and drink some hot coco
with some marshmallows
on top
and i won't stop
until my will is warm
and able to perform
in a storm of Sundays
and Mondays
and so-on
but i must go on
with grace
so as i taste
this drink
i will stop think
about my blessings
and the lessons
i have learned
so far
and hope that i don't get burn
and it leaves a scar
