people seem to take my kindness for weakness
which really makes my soul scream
but it like a dream
or a nightmare
yeah it's not fair
how people don't seem to care
how i feel
yeah like my heart is steel
but it is flesh
so someone's will can kill it
with a slit from a ice-pick
or some words
or some actions
yeah i too deserve some satisfaction
or some respect
yeah because i do bleed and need
and damn i am slippery when wet
