here i go again
wishing i had a friend
to hold me until the night ends
but not in a sinful way
just tight enough until my loneliness goes away
yeah to make me okay
is all i ask
well maybe to make me forget about some of my past mistakes
and heartbreaks
yeah just like if i was sitting at the lake
feeling nothing but peace
yes i need a release
or more like a reliever
and i will gladly be the receiver
but i still have my writing
that GOD gave me
so once again i am alright
